Hello, my stamping friend.
Thank you for stopping by. Today I am participating in blog hop - Christmas in July. What is your thought about Christmas in July concept? To be honest I am not sure... Part of me is asking - Christmas in the middle of summer? ( in very skeptical voice). Another part saying - "you know when school starts, everything going too fast and you will not have much time for Christmas projects". With those 2 sides of me talking - I decided to give it a try. I put aside my daisy punch and startrd thinking. Hmm, where to start? I wanted to use brand new stamp - Carols of Christmas that I preordred (it will be available online starting August 1st). I quickly discovered that I do not have any holiday designer paper or any other accessories. So I pulled my stack of paper to see what will work. Eastern Palace was the only one I thought might work for me. I also decided to use new In-Colors, as I just can not get enough of them and did not want to use traditional color combo.
Here is what i came up with. Cards 1 - Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide and Gold:
I added new gold ribbon, gold stickers from Eastern Palace Suite. For centers of the flowers I used green glue and sprinkle it with gold glitter, let it dry - and you have nice flowers:)
Card 2 - Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Gold:Same template, but gold designer paper is the main gold there. I also used Lemon Lime Twist ribbon.
What do you think? Which one you like more? This card for sure can be created in traditional color combination. a lot of possibilities for sure.
Leave me a comment for a chance to win a prize (and to let me know if you like my attempt).
Continue the Hop for more Christmas Ideas:
I am back to my daisy punch, haha:)
